A small studio that knows your pet by name

Pet Starz opened in Bolton in 2024 with one groomer, one table and a simple rule: pets should feel calm, not cornered. The first appointments were built around slow introductions, soft voices and enough time for every pet to settle before any clippers came out.

That approach still shapes the whole studio. We now work as a nine-person team, but each visit is still paced by the pet in front of us, with one handler from check-in to pick-up and breaks whenever they need them.

  • One handler per pet, start to finish
  • No sedation, no forced restraint, ever
  • Senior and anxious pets booked into quiet hours

How a visit works

Four steps, no surprises

Tell us about your pet

Book online or call. We ask about coat type, past groomers, health notes and anything that makes them nervous.

Meet and settle in

Your groomer says hello at their pace. Nothing starts until your pet is comfortable on the table.

Studio time

Bath, cut, nails and ears, with breaks built in. Most visits run 90 minutes to 3 hours depending on coat.

Photo and report card

You get a picture, notes on skin and coat, and a suggested date for the next appointment.

Duke is usually nervous away from home, but the evening updates and calm routine made a big difference. He settled in faster than we expected.
Mark T. · Duke, boxer
Nori is hard to impress, but the quiet handling and careful brushing won her over. She came out looking like a different cat in the best way.
